Lord Nelson
This fine sweet pea is a rich, dark blue self with 3 or 4 flowers per stem. It received an Award of Merit in 1907 when it was introduced in the UK by House. It was simultaneously introduced in the United States by Burpee under the name 'Brilliant Blue'.
Combines magnificently with a lighter blue sweet pea such as either of the heirloom varieties, Flora Norton or Lady Grisel Hamilton.
Annual climber to about 6 ft.
