A lovely pale heliotrope or lavender heirloom sweet pea with a hooded standard, bred by Henry Eckford in 1895. It remained the most popular variety of its colour until the introduction of the Spencer varieties. Usually has three flowers per stem, occasionally four. As with many lavender sweet peas, the seed is small and poor looking, but germinates well.
Annual climber to about 6 ft.
